The Department of Art and Art History at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is conducting a search for an Assistant Professor, full-time, benefit-eligible 9-month tenure track position, in graphic design. Specifically, we are seeking applications from candidates who possess an understanding of the critical, historical and theoretical aspects of graphic design as well as an engagement in evolving practices in the field. The ideal candidate will be able to apply this understanding to areas such as logo design, print layout, web design, motion graphics, or wayfinding, as well as emergent technologies for graphic designers, as demonstrated by their creative portfolio.
