Modern Art and Architectural History and Theory (Two positions)
The Department of the History of Art at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor appointments in Modern Art and Architectural History and Theory. We welcome scholars of the long twentieth century who pursue a critically inflected approach to the period’s global interconnections and engage with the philosophical and historical constructions of and challenges to modernism. This search will result in two appointments. One will be a specialist in East and/or Southeast Asian modern art, including transnational and Asian American art history.
