The Nebraska Wesleyan University Art Department invites applications for a non-tenured position as Assistant Professor in Art History. The successful candidate will work in a small, but thriving studio art department within a liberal arts university. The successful candidate will be an art history generalist with the ability to teach both western and non-western survey courses from ancient to the 21st century. The candidate must be able to teach modern and contemporary art and craft history, and specific thematic courses. NWU faculty are expected to participate and teach in our innovative Archway curriculum and provide service to the organization.
