Lecturer in Contemporary Art: Photography (2-year appointment)
The Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts at Rice University is seeking to hire a two-year lecturer in residence who is an artist and art educator with primary interests in the field of photography as it relates to contemporary art practices. A successful candidate will be responsible for teaching six undergraduate courses each academic year (three fall and three spring), as well as participating in student advising and mentoring. The successful candidate will be an actively exhibiting artist with a record of teaching excellence and an ability to collaborate on the administration and coordination of our undergraduate photography curriculum.
