The Department of Visual Arts seeks to hire an artist well-versed in contemporary issues of painting to join the faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates must demonstrate a strong exhibition record and the ability to teach both basic and advanced painting. Courses taught may include an introductory class with a focus on technique, to more advanced conceptually- and philosophically-inclined topics.
