Visiting Assistant Professor, Art History
The Berea College Art and Art History Department announces a full-time, one-year faculty position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History, beginning August 2025. The teaching load is three courses each semester. The ideal candidate would be able to teach European/American surveys and have a specialization in one or more of the following: Renaissance/Baroque, Medieval, Classical art, or a non-Western area. The curriculum also supports offering additional courses based on the candidate’s areas of specialization. PhD by August 2025 and college teaching experience preferred, ABD considered.
