The Department of Art & Art History at the University of Miami invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Printmaking/Design Thinking to begin August 15, 2025. The department seeks Studio Art candidates working in the following fields, or at the intersection of these practices: traditional modes of printmaking; digital or computer-based printmaking; design thinking and innovation. We are particularly interested in applicants who can contribute to existing college and university programs, including the new Innovation co-major program. The expected teaching commitment is 2-2.
