Assistant Professor in Digital Media, Tenure-Track position in the Department of Art
The Department of Art at Colby College invites applications for a tenure-track position in digital media at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning September 2023. A teaching load of 4.5 courses/year will consist of an introduction to digital 2-D design, two intermediate-level courses, and an advanced, special project course. Our preference will be toward candidates who also work and incorporate in their teaching one or more of the following areas: digital design, time-based media, animation, and sound. The successful candidate will become part of our dynamic department of art history and studio art. In addition to an extraordinary museum of art, the Lunder Institute for American Art, and a dedicated library of art and music, Colby College is currently engaged in ambitious investments
