Grant Wood Fellow in Painting & Drawing
The University of Iowa School of Art, Art History, and Design seeks applications from emerging to mid-career artists in painting/drawing for the Grant Wood Fellowship Program for the 2026-27 academic year. Fellowship recipient responsibilities: Teach one class per semester in the University of Iowa School of Art, Art History, and Design, Painting & Drawing Area. The candidate may teach either an introductory course or an advanced course depending on their strengths and the needs of the program. Present a public lecture about their work Participate in limited public outreach activities (e.g.: workshops, discussion of your work with a local arts organization) Solo or shared exhibition at end of
