Assistant Professor of 2D Foundations
The Department of Art + Design at Utah State University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of 2D Foundations position. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated record of effective teaching in foundational 2-D courses—specifically 2-D Design and Drawing I—within a university setting. The position requires collaboration with fellow foundation-level instructors to cultivate essential design and drawing competencies among emerging artists. A strong commitment to student mentorship and academic success is also expected. The position is defined as 80% teaching, 10% research/creative activity, 10% service.
