Assistant Professor of Art (Painting, Printmaking, Intermedia) at Kalamazoo College
The Department of Art and Art History at Kalamazoo College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Art from artists whose studio practice is based in painting, printmaking, and/or intermedia. Teaching responsibilities include six courses per year (two per trimester) with regular offerings in drawing, painting, printmaking, digital media, and interdisciplinary courses, as well as supervision of senior projects in these areas. This position starts in September 2026 and is one of five tenure lines in the Department of Art and Art History at Kalamazoo College including three core studio lines based in Painting/Print/Intermedia, Ceramics/Sculpture, and Photo/Digital. Art and Art History faculty also participate in academic advising of students, oversee equipment/studio
