The Department of Art & Art History seeks a practicing artist to teach beginning and upper-level undergraduate courses in ceramics/drawing. This is an Instructor of Practice position, non-tenurable. This 9-month position will begin August 2025 subject to final budgetary approval. We are looking for an artist who will bring a critical and creative approach to teaching ceramics in a liberal arts setting. We seek an artist who will take advantage of our unique facilities to teach both functional and sculptural ceramics courses as well as potentially traditional and experimental courses in other sculptural processes and/or environmental art.
