The Andrew W. Mellon Post-Doctoral Curatorial Fellowship at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art offers curatorial training and the opportunity to strengthen the academic role of the Museum’s collections, facilitating the use of original works of art by faculty and students. The Fellow will work as part of a curatorial team and will report to the Curator.Responsibilities include: Facilitates object-based class sessions in the Museum’s dedicated art-studyclassroom. Curates and organizes at least one major scholarly exhibition and accompanying publication. Promotes faculty engagement with the collection through introductory andongoing workshops designed to develop curricular opportunities. Organizes teaching exhibitions
