The School of Art at Louisiana State University seeks an open-rank, tenure-track professor in Digital Art. The Digital Art program at LSU operates at the intersection of advanced technology and creative expression. Current sponsored research includes the development of virtual production curricula and capabilities, digital twin technology for NASA's largest manufacturing facility, and simulation of electron microscopy. Additional projects in human-computer interaction, emerging media, and visualization are also underway in collaboration with departments across engineering, computer science, emergency medicine, coastal science, electronic music, film and television, and the Veterinary School.
