Assistant Professor of Art Education (Tenure Track)
The Art Department at Old Dominion University invites applications for an annual, 10-month position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in July 25, 2025. This is a tenure track appointment with a 2/3 teaching load. We are particularly looking for an Assistant Professor specialized in contemporary art education for K-12 public school settings for this tenure track position. We welcome candidates whose lived experience, creative practice, research and/or teaching centers on historically underrepresented communities or marginalized practices in a way that would enhance learning experiences for our diverse student population. This Assistant Professor will teach foundations and methods courses in a 2/3 teaching load.
