Assistant Teaching Professor of Art (Drawing)
The Department of Art at Wake Forest University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as Assistant Teaching Professor of Drawing, to begin July 1, 2025. We seek a dynamic teacher-scholar with an MFA in art, a strong track record in both teaching and creative work, and the professional background to teach all levels of drawing in a Studio Art BA program. A successful candidate will be expected to teach all levels of drawing, including Figure Drawing, and potentially develop a First Year Seminar. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a commitment to service, mentoring, and advising students from diverse backgrounds, as well as shaping the future of the program through leadership roles and curriculum development.
