Assistant Professor of Art History
The Department of Art and Design at Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in art history, beginning in fall 2025. The successful candidate will be the primary art history faculty member within a small, but thriving, department offering degrees in art history, studio art, and graphic design. Art history courses are an important component of all major and minor programs within the Department of Art and Design, as well as interdisciplinary minors in Museum Studies and Women’s Studies. They also contribute to the university’s Central Curriculum, particularly in the Artistic Expression and Writing Intensive areas, among others.
