Professor of Painting, Tenure Track - Open Rank
Emory University seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, as part of a multi-year initiative to build our program offerings in the visual arts. This position will teach in Emory’s Visual Arts Program, which is housed in the Department of Film and Media in Emory College of Arts and Sciences. We are searching for an artist to help conceptualize and implement a painting curriculum for undergraduate students. We are particularly interested in an individual whose creative practice and research engages with vital concerns across the College, including but not limited to the other arts, the social and natural sciences, environmental studies, the nature of representation, social justice, and AI.
