Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Media/Photo Art History
The Department of Art, Art History & Visual Studies at Duke University invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position in Media/Photo History at the assistant professor level. Exceptional doctoral candidates whose requirements for the Ph.D. will be completed before the appointment officially begins will also be considered. We seek applications from individuals whose work makes significant contributions to Media Studies and/or Photo History scholarship, broadly conceived. Scholars whose research spans photography, new media, and film are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will teach courses in the history and theory of Photography, Documentary Arts, Media history and Media Studies, as is relevant to areas of expertise. Classes will interface
