The Department of the History of Art at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for the position of Austen-Stokes Assistant Professor in the Art of the Ancient Americas, to begin July 1, 2025. We welcome applications from scholars specializing in the art, architecture, and/or material culture of pre-colonial North, Central, and/or South America, including the Caribbean. Ph.D. in the History of Art, Anthropology/Archaeology, or related fields required at time of appointment.
