Visiting Instructor (ABD) or Visiting Assistant Professor
The Art department at Colorado College is seeking a Visiting Instructor(ABD) or Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) specializing in 20th/21st century art with a global reach to teach 3 intensive “block” courses in spring 2025. This position starts January 19th, 2025, and ends April 17th. Prior teaching experience required. The courses are: Early Modernism, 1900-1945; Global Contemporary Art, 1945-1990; and Global Contemporary Art, 1990-present; courses may include consideration of issues such as race, justice, gender, environmentalism, and power. Specific course content will be dependent on the candidate’s interests and developed in consultation with the department.
