The Department of Art and Art History at Carleton College (Northfield, MN) invites applications for a visiting faculty position in art history for 2024-2025 at the rank of assistant professor or instructor. This position involves teaching four courses spread over two or three 10-week terms, including one-half of the introductory survey of art history, plus a mix of introductory and advanced courses, to be selected based on the successful applicant’s interests and specialization. Candidates with any specialty in art history outside of the European tradition are encouraged to apply.
