Lecturer, Drawing and Painting, Department of Studio Art
The College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas invites applications for a 3-year (renewable) Lecturer in Drawing and Painting, beginning Fall 2024. The successful candidate will teach eight studio art courses per year (4/4) in the undergraduate Drawing and Painting curriculum. This includes introductory courses in painting and figure drawing and intermediate/advanced topics courses based on the successful candidate’s interest and expertise. We seek an enthusiastic colleague who is interested in contributing to an established and progressive program. Other responsibilities include departmental and university service and a commitment to professional development. An MFA, or equivalent terminal degree is required.
