Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, is seeking a broadly-trained Lecturer in Studio Art beginning fall 2024. Teaching responsibilities will be 6 courses per year including graphic design as well as courses in at least one of these additional areas: collage and assemblage, sculpture/3D design, drawing, textile art and/or darkroom photography. The successful candidate will also assist with mentoring upper-level student thesis projects. Expectations also include overseeing appropriate studio facilities. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring students. This full-time position can be renewed on an annual basis. An MFA in studio art or another appropriate area is required.
