Assistant Professor - Tenure Track - Foundation Department
The Foundation program at KCAI serves over 250 first-year students each year and has been focused on foundational principles and pedagogy for over fifty years. The program devotes 18 credit hours to introductory art and design studio practice during the first year of the undergraduate experience and is led by a faculty of committed practitioners and educators across a broad range of fine art and design-based fields of study. The Foundation program is a core spine of the undergraduate curriculum at KCAI and brings students into broad-based, studio-intensive investigations in perceptual, material, and intellectual studies.
