The Department of Art & Art History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Sculpture and expanded fields at the rank of Assistant Professor with a start date of July 1, 2024. The position is a full-time, nine-month academic year appointment. The successful candidate will have a dynamic studio practice and will have the ability to teach a range of undergraduate courses. They will also mentor graduate students working across disciplines and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds. Central teaching responsibilities will be in all levels of Sculpture, with additional opportunities to teach interdisciplinary courses such as first year seminars, graduate seminars and experimental cour
