The University of Memphis, Department of Art and Design, seeks a new colleague to join our rapidly growing and exceptional Graphic Design program. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a wide range of undergraduate (BFA) and graduate (MFA) courses across a comprehensive curriculum. Program instruction emphasizes socially and culturally informed as well as human-centered design research and practice. Our ideal candidate will show evidence of teaching emergent technologies, typographic design excellence, design history and theory, and strong craft and technical proficiency across a wide range of media.
