Reporting to the Deputy Director and Chief Curator, the Head of Publications develops and implements the strategic direction of the YCBA’s publications program, foregrounding scholarship and research on the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and architecture. Working with staff across the museum and with authors around the globe, the Head of Publications will produce innovative titles and publishing initiatives to advance the YCBA’s profile and contributions to the field of British art. The role combines strategic planning of the overall publishing program with editorial responsibility for the development of individual titles.
