Assistant Professor, Architectural History
The Art History and Architectural Studies Department at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a historian/theorist of modern and contemporary architecture and urbanism for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2024. This individual will provide critical support to our vibrant, growing Architectural Studies program while also serving the larger Art History track in our department. Applicants should hold or anticipate completing a Ph.D. in architectural history by fall 2024. Ideally, they will also possess a design background, including familiarity with digital programs and software. The teaching load is four courses per year, comprising a general survey on the built environment, upper-level courses in the candidate
