The Department of Art at Skidmore College invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in drawing and painting beginning September 2023. The College is interested in candidates who can contribute to the growing diversity and excellence of the academic community, particularly through their inclusive teaching. We seek a broadly trained artist with expertise in teaching at the undergraduate level and an active exhibition record. Teaching experience at the college/university beyond the TA is desirable.
