Visiting Assistant Professor of Islamic Art History
The Art History Department at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time non-continuing faculty position in the College of Arts and Sciences in Islamic art history. Appointment to this position will be for a term of one year [two semesters], beginning fall of 2023, and will carry the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. The incumbent will teach a total of five courses in the general area of Art and Architecture of the Islamic World, including introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses. We welcome specialists in any subfield, region or period whose teaching does justice to the geographic and chronological range of the field.
