The Department of Art and Art History at Birmingham-Southern College seeks candidates for a full-time non-tenure track Visiting Lecturer of Art in Drawing for the 2023-2024 academic year, with the potential for renewal for a second year. Candidates should hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in studio art by August 2023. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment and working with colleagues to accomplish the mission of the Department and College. We seek an individual who is a practicing studio artist with a national exhibition record and possesses a technical facility and knowledge of historical and contemporary drawing themes.
