Assistant Professor of Teaching, Core Studio (Studio Foundations)
POSITION: The College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts of Wayne State University is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time non-tenure track appointment as Assistant Professor of Teaching in Core Studio in the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History. The job begins no later than August 17, 2023; salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a designer or artist to teach courses in Core Studio (Studio Foundations), with an emphasis in time-based media and secondary emphasis that may include, but is not limited to, one of the following teaching areas: print media, drawing, or UX/UI design.
