The Art Department at SUNY New Paltz seeks applications for an Assistant Professor of Art Education, a full-time, 10-month, tenure track position with an anticipated start date of August 20, 2023. The Art Education program seeks an innovative artist/educator with extensive experience teaching children and youth in school and/or community settings. The ideal candidate will be prepared to enthusiastically collaborate with faculty and local school and community partners to develop forward-thinking initiatives within the art education program at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates who can foster a welcoming and inclusive learning environment while modeling how to integrate creative practice into pedagogical approaches are especially encouraged to apply. Responsi
