Full Time Lecturer in Foundations
The Department of Art at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, College of Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a Lecturer position in Foundations beginning August 1, 2023. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience with a cross-disciplinary pedagogy in the context of a Foundations curriculum that engages the technical, formal, and conceptual skills relevant to the breadth of contemporary art and design practice. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach both analog and digital technology and to move seamlessly between media. Candidates should also demonstrate an integral commitment to supporting marginalized students through the lens of feminist, anti-racist, and inclusive pedagogy.
