The Division of Sculpture/Dimensional Studies at the School of Art and Design, New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, is seeking candidates for a full-time Assistant Professor of Glass beginning Fall 2023. Applications are invited from artists and educators with expertise in glass casting and/or kiln forming.  The successful candidate will teach undergraduate introductory and advanced courses in glass casting and kiln forming as well as work with graduate students in our cross-disciplinary sculpture MF A program. Candidates should have demonstrable skills in teaching students from diverse backgrounds and experiences with a strong interest in promoting works that extend outside the canon.
