Assistant Professor of Early Modern Art History (1400-1800)
The Department of Art at Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor, to begin July 1, 2023. We seek a dynamic teacher-scholar with a PhD in art or architectural history whose work addresses one of the following areas between 1400–1800 CE: African, East Asian, Native American/First Nations, or Latin American/Latin American Diaspora. We welcome a candidate who is committed to excellence in both teaching and research and will teach a combination of introductory surveys, upper-level lectures, and seminars in their area of expertise.
