The Flagler College Department of Visual Arts invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Art History. Candidates should be prepared to contribute to the Art History program, with teaching expertise that suits the program’s global and transnational coverage, and which complements existing strengths in Modern and Contemporary Art. We value candidates whose coursework will take a global perspective, and have a broad appeal within the context of a liberal arts institution. Prospective candidates must be capable of teaching courses in Visual Culture and the two-part Art History survey, upper-division courses in their field of specialization, and will have an opportunity to develop courses for Flagler College’s Core Curriculum.
