Art Historian— Modernist. COLGATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for a three-semester Visiting Assistant Professor position starting in January, 2023. We are especially interested in candidates whose scholarship and teaching considers Modernism in a global framework; area of specialization is open. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with interdisciplinary university programs such as: Africana and Latin American Studies, Asian Studies, Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, as well as Film and Media Studies. The candidate will be expected to teach 3 courses in the Spring, 2023 and 5 courses over the 2023-2024 academic year.
