The Orchestra Now Program at Bard College invites application for a full-time position. The successful candidate for this position will join the faculty of The Orchestra Now, guiding the future of the orchestral area within the larger Orchestra Now program. We seek an individual that can lead ensembles on campus, play within the orchestra and teach academic courses in their field. We seek a creative artist that will be able to teach 3 music courses while assisting the Academic Director in overseeing Capstone projects for third-year students. Additionally, they will be curating music programs to encourage and develop exposure to composers from South America, both in an educational and professional context.
