To support the development of a more diverse professoriate, the Department of Art & Art History at the University of North Carolina Asheville invites applications for the University Fellowship for Faculty Diversity (University Fellows) Program, to begin Fall 2022. The program invites candidates seeking a faculty position at a liberal arts institution with a strong desire to provide excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. Applicants must hold an MFA in Ceramics, and specialize in wheel-thrown functional and decorative ceramics, glaze calculation, slip casting and kiln operation and maintenance as our curriculum prides itself on teaching students how to be practitioners beyond what the University facilities provides.
