The Department of Visual and Material Studies in the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach one course in Histories of Photography during the Spring term of 2022. The focus should be expansive, offering participants a broad understanding of the many ways in which the medium and its manufactured products can be used to communicate, display, manipulate and express ideas since its origins. Course should address how photography has positioned or questioned strategies of identity, power and relationality.
