The Department of Art at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a one-year, non-renewable position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History beginning August 1, 2021 (classes begin August 16th). Applicants with a PhD in Art History and at least one year of teaching experience beyond the graduate level are preferred. ABD candidates are also welcome to apply. This position is open to applicants with specializations in all temporal and geographic areas, although candidates with a concentration in non-Western art histories are preferred.
